Zig Zag

prior to the road rage I did manage to swim 11 sets of 4 in the pool....
The first set I was in there all by myself - we already solidified how unnerving that can be for me.
I used the kick board to get my legs warmed up.  Gosh there is nothing more awkward in the water than a kickboard.  You get this false sense of better when you use it - only to find you aren't going that much faster or that much smoother.
From there - since I was in the pool all by myself - I exercised that zig-zag approach we will need to use on Sunday to snake through the pool.  Glad I did.   My push off was a little off on some of the walls.
I also timed myself in the zigzag exercise - I covered the distance in about 5 minutes - that could mean good things for Sunday.  We shall see.
Then others joined so I finished up the rest with some straight swims and some left hand breathing...
