Ambidexterous

You will have to forgive me on the spelling of that word - not one I use all that often.  So today a new concept was shared with me for my training.  I hadnt really given it any thought prior to today.
I have spent months trying to figure out left hand breathing...  And to tell you the truth I think I am getting better at it.  I feel like I get through the water faster than I had been.  Actually I feel like I get through the water overall a lot smoother.
And I have worked on this.  This two sided aspect of body, breathing, stroke and kick stuff.
SO why not do that on the bike?
What?  I know.... Had not crossed my mind before.
But yesterday for the 3rd or 4th time on a Sunday ride I noticed my hip-flexor was quite tired.  I notice it in the midst of the ride.  My leg getting tired.  And pretty much just the left leg.
Almost an hour into my ride I arrived at 3rd traffic light of the ride.  I stretched my left leg down to the ground to balance.  Ooouch...  Feel that stretch... Wooo
I mentioned it to a friend today - who tried to show me a cool yoga stretch for my hip flexor - although I will have to google it because I have no idea what she did...
She suggested I try to switch up my leaning leg and starting foot...
GOOD IDEA!
