Akon not AON

I ended up having to walk/run on the treadmill in the hotel this evening.  It had cleared up outside after dinner.  I just wasnt sure where to go.  PLUS I had convinced myself that a swim in the hotel pool would be most enjoyable.  So technically I was dressed for a swim with my shorts and shirt over top.  I hadnt thought about people playing around in the pool.  I mean really?  At a hotel pool?  In the summer time?  Kids playing?  Why didn't taht cross my mind?  Probably because the other hotel I normally stay at doesnt ever have anyone in the pool.  SO I didnt swim.  I went to the exercise room instead.  I didnt feel like lugging everything else back upstairs and then finding my way around.  So the treadmill it was.
There was a guy on the stationary bike when I got there.  The treadmill was free - YAY.  This is the first time I have been on a treadmill since Greenwood this past winter.  Seriously.  I dont think I have been on a treadmill in quite some time.  I walked/ran for 45 minutes.  Did a little over 2 miles.  I didn't ramp up the speed all that much.  I did practice some mid foot and toe landing.  And I confirmed that on a treadmill the stance for a run - you know bent slightly forward at the hips, always feeling like you are falling a little bit into the stride - just doesnt happen.  To run on toes you can do that at almost a snails pace.  With the treadmill you really do end up letting it bring you through your routine instead of a proper postured road workout.  At least that was my observation.
My other observation for the evening.  There was soccer/futbol on.  The new ManU shirts were Aon sponsored.  It reminded me of a conversation recently about Akon.  I was confused as I thought they meant Aon.  Anyways I liked the new footies.
