so shall we recap some of the people watching from last week?
first there were the complaining airline employees - i dont know that they were actually USAir employees or employees of the commuter type fligts... they were complaining about shifts and no one was around that had been fully trained... my two thoughts on the situation -- (1) I guess they dont train about reprimand in private praise in public; be mindful of audience and you situation with your behavior; when you're down talk up... and (2) gosh i hope the people that fly these things are fully trained...
THEN there was the lady in the white sundress - the type of sundress that goes real well over a flashy bright coloured bathing suit and not over undergarments... and we were at one of the furthest gates at the airport.. she had lots of distance to cover in her very shear dress... I probably wont be buying a white dress any time in the near future... which does remind me of thoughts I had about the new bathing suit but that will have to wait...
some recent fads are doing a good job of demasculating (is that a word/verb) the American man... let's take a look at the use of iPads - they are convenient and cool but when you want to type away on them you end up with part screen part keyboard AND that keyboard is quite small and dainty... I watched a guy with pinkies extended typing away on it and it just looked so silly.. followed by these other men on the other side of me sipping pink smoothies through straws... fruit smoothies? does anyone else think those are kind of girly? men should be drinking chocolate peanut butter protein shakes not smoothies...
