I wrote briefly on this park the weekend I walk/ran it. I did in fact take some pictures of it while I was there. I am just getting around to posting them. It is about a mile in, so 2 miles round trip. 
One of the neat things about most of the park system around here, they are centered around streams. 
And since we have had some good rain this spring the streams have water in them. Some summers they have been dry - which only tends to accentuate the heat. 
So this was a nice little jaunt in the woods. Even if it was only 2 miles.
