Private Ryan

So I haven't felt all that well this week. Today's the sinus headache kicked in full force and I decided it would be a good night to sit on the couch and watch the tele... Of course there was nothing on the tele. I decided I would watch Moulin Rouge - it has been a while since I watched it and that would be a light little romance with some good music. And somewhere between that decision, changing into my pjs and pulling the movie out of the closet I ended up with Saving Private Ryan. A little darker and more gruesome than my original thought for Friday night on the couch. Last week there was that special on PBS about WWII with Martin Sheen as narrator - I figure this must be a carry over. And even though it is a far cry from Ewan McGregor singing Your Song - I am glad I chose it. What a GREAT movie - cinematography, actors, story line, leadership, patriotism... So a good choice. Maybe I will get the Moulin Rouge in tomorrow night - after a day of trying to get in my crazy sleu of workouts...
